The first Rush Hour jazz of the year features Leeds jazz trombonist Tom L'Anson
Tom has recently completed his studies at the Leeds College of Music. He has worked with several notable jazz musicians, including Kenny Wheeler, Michael Gibbs, Pete Beechill, Christine Tobin, and Iration Steppas. He is also a member of many pop and art bands on the local scene including Bongo Chilli, Dan Man, and Arthur Rigby and the Baskervylles. In Leeds he plays with the Tom Sharp Jazz Orchestra and Asaxual.
He’ll be playing some of his favourite jazz standards at Seven Arts with the JazzLeeds trio of Will Powell guitar, Steve Crocker bass and Dom Moore on drums.
