Kevin James is a talented singer, pianist, teacher and songwriter who has been part of the Leeds scene now for almost 20 years. His music covers a wide range - you can hear Mose Allison and Nat King Cole as influences but he keeps his ears open for tunes old and new.

For the past few years he has written and played for some challenging musical theatre projects: 2008 saw his biggest challenge yet with the premiere of a stage work, "Lone Flyers", my musical about the pioneer British aviator Amy Johnson.
