One of the great alto saxophonists and the leading light of "soul jazz", Cannonball Adderley had an exuberant and happy sound that communicated immediately to listeners. He recorded with Miles Davis on the classic "Kind of Blue" album before leading his Cannonball Adderley quintet with his brother Nat. His "Somethin' Else" album with Miles included the famous arrangement of "Autumn Leaves". Nick Browne's band is a talented group of young musicians from Leeds. Expect to hear them this Cannonball classics such as "This Here" "Work Song" Jivesamba" "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy"
