Jamil Sheriff's Matinee Project

Jamil Sheriff plays hard hitting, post bop influenced, original modern jazz. His octet has been taking the country by storm for the last four years and has recently recorded its second album "Backchat". This is the first gig for Jamil’s new quartet “The Matinee Project”. He has been busy writing some new material and will be showcasing it here. Saxman Rob Lavers has toured worldwide as a featured instrumentalist.
