Jazz Yorkshire is inviting nominations for people or groups who have made an exceptional contribution to the jazz scene in Yorkshire and the Humber region during 2011. Anyone can make an online nomination for an award. The nomination must be for people or groups who are based in and/or undertake the majority of their activities in the this region. Nominations must be in by end February.  

The awards will be presented at a special event at Dean Clough, Halifax on the evening on Monday 19 March 2012.

Jazz Yorkshire will be disappearing in 2012, replaced by the new Northern region jazz agency covering the former North East, North West and Yorkshire and Humberside regions. Why not cast your vote for the best of Yorkshire's jazz while you still can! (nb votes for Seven Jazz would be good!)
