Saxman Richard Ormrod has give us jazz and cowboys ("Home of the Brave", jazz and calyspo ("Pan Jumby") now John Coltrane gets the dub treatment in the band that was the hit of the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival this year. An intriguing mix of jazz and ska (think Don Drummond and skatalite) with Richard Ormrod on tenor, baritone, alto saxes, Simon Pugsley, trombone, Chris Campbell, guitar, Bob Birch, organ, synths, Alex Davis, bass, Spear, percussion, Sam Hobbs, drums
This is a change to the advertised programme, as Munch Manship is unable to appear. Come and try us out- you'll like the good vibe, friendly people and a fun raffle with (of course!) seven prizes. Families are welcome. Why not enjoy your Sunday lunch while you listen to the music?
