Our Seven Jazz instrumental workshops for Spring 2013 series of workshops are as follows

All these workshops are at Seven Arts, 31A Harrogate Road, Leeds, LS7 3PD and all workshops 2-30 to 4-30 pm and the workshops cost £10/£8 concessions

We usually work towards playing two or three numbers as part of our ‘Jazz Café’ in a very enjoyable and supportive atmosphere!  Workshop members need to have some experience of playing (say a couple of years), and an interest in jazz, though not necessarily in playing it – just a willingness to have a go!  Some reading experience useful but not essential.

Dominic Moore runs a Seven jazz improvisation group at the Methodist Centre, Chapel Allerton for more experienced players. Dom brings charts for the group to play through. The dates for  Summer are

Seven Jazz Voices Choir is back - an eclectic mix of jazz, pop, gospel and blues run by our good friend and star jazz vocalist Nicki Allen. Come along and try it out!
 
Choir held 7-9pm at Inkwell, Potternewton Lane, Chapel Allerton LS73LW (the former Shoulder of Mutton pub). Lots of fun, no experience necessary.

No choir on Monday 6 May, as it is bank holiday, but the choir will do a performance on at the Inkwell Festival on their festival on Sunday 5th May Day

Sunday 7 July in the afternoon is the Seven Jazz Cafe event - the choir may like to have a 'term end' performance at this.
Inkwell is the old Shoulder of Mutton pub, on Potternewton Lane, Chapel Allerton - opposite the side entrance to Tech North.  The choir sessions are £5 each.
